Prof. Ndubiaku made this known on Monday while receiving. Mallam Aminu kano’s Legacies for National Unity in Diversity award.   The award tagged “Meritorious award as an ICON of Peace & Unity” was presented to him by the Coalition of Northern Progressive Movement (CNPM).

Prof. Ndubiaku said, ” We are living  in this country by the grace of God. Alot of things are happening in this country which if it were to be other countries they won’t survive. Take for instance, those who were unable to pay thirty thousand naira minimum wage, suddenly they are now ready to even increase the minimum wage hundred percent.

“If you check out, those governor’s are now increasing staff salary just to live the burden to the next government. Likewise the Federal Government.

” The fact is that it’s only God that would save Nigeria from this present predicament we found ourselves.

He further stated that the problem with Nigeria today is the fact that most of our leaders  do not have the history of where we are coming  from, the contribution of the likes of Mallam Aminu Kano, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, among other Nigeria founding fathers.

Prof. Ndubiaku argued that if Nigeria history is brought to bear, most of these people aspiring to lead us in 2023 do not measure up to the standard of those great icon of Nigeria democracy.
