The Vice President of Alba Lulia FC and the Adviser scout CFR Cluj Romanian Armando-Mihai Popesou has said that football raw talents abound in Nigeria.
He made this known at the ongoing Ejike Ugboaja FC scouting programme at the Package B of the MKO Abiola National Stadium Abuja.
The Adviser Scout CFR Cluj Romanian said he was thrilled with the performances of young Nigerians during the day one of the four-day scouting programme.
According to him, with what he has seen in the day one, there is a likely hold that he will be going to Romanian with some players because they have really impress him and other scouts too.
He said, “The future of football is great in Nigeria and I see a country that is willing to develop in football. And other aspects too.””This is my first time to come to Nigeria and I am very happy to be here. Nigerians are nice people, very receptive and I love that.”Though, I came here for football scouting but, I think I love the country; specifically your local delicacies,” he said.
