New APC NWC Members Receive Certificates of Return
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has presented Certificates of Return to newly elected members of its National Working Committee (NWC). This is following the successful conclusion of its National Convention.

The certificates were formally handed over on Thursday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja by the APC Central Coordination Committee, led by former speaker of the house of representatives, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari.
Speaking after receiving his certificate, the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, expressed deep appreciation to the committee for organizing what he described as “an excellent, elegant, transparent, and one of the most successful conventions ever held in Nigeria.”
He commended the dedication and commitment of the organizers, noting that their efforts have set a new benchmark for internal party processes and democratic conduct.
Yilwatda also thanked party leaders and members across the country for the confidence reposed in the new NWC, assuring that the team would not take the opportunity to serve for granted.
“As we assume our responsibilities, we are fully committed to upholding the values, unity, and strength of our great party. We will work diligently to consolidate existing gains and ensure continued progress and excellence,” he said.

The APC chairman further highlighted the peaceful and litigation-free nature of the convention, describing it as a reflection of the party’s maturity, internal cohesion, and commitment to democratic ideals.
According to him, sustaining such standards in future conventions remains a collective responsibility of all party stakeholders.
He also expressed appreciation to party members nationwide for their loyalty, sacrifices, and unwavering support, praying for divine reward for their efforts.
“On behalf of the newly inaugurated National Working Committee, I reaffirm our commitment to inclusiveness, unity, and progress. We will continue to engage, mobilize, and strengthen the party at all levels,” he added.
Yilwatda urged members to remain steadfast and united, calling on them to serve as proud ambassadors of the party in their respective communities.
“Now is the time for renewed dedication. Wherever you are, stand firm, promote the ideals of the party, and represent it with confidence and conviction,” he said.
The presentation of Certificates of Return marks the formal commencement of duties for the new NWC, setting the stage for the party’s next phase of political engagement and organizational consolidation ahead of future electoral activities.
Recall that the APC held its National Convention from March 27 to 28, 2026, at Eagle Square, where the new executive committee emerged by consensus.
If you want, I can also tighten it further into a punchier newspaper-style version or add a stronger political angle.
