.Following the commencement of the training of the legislative aides to the Senators and House of Representatives members on basic law-making processes and procedures by the National Assembly Service Commission, a prominent pan- Nigerian advocacy group, Coalition of Civil Society Groups for Peace,Security, Good Governance, Equity and Justice has poured encomiums on the Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission(NASC),Engr Ahmed Kadi Amshi for his dogged and transparent commitment to human capital development /quality service delivery of the key workforce of the national assembly.In a press statement made available to Core Reporters on Thursday in Abuja and signed by the national coordinator Comrade James Okoronkwo, the civil society group stated that Engri Amshi, the NASC executive chairman “is a rare breed in the freshest sense of the term,a charge of electricity who is changing positively the fortunes of the National Assembly with patriotic gusto”.
0koronkwo further noted that the NASC Chairman is a management prodigy imbued with human kindness and humility and fully committed to improving the skills and working conditions of the National Assembly Legislative Aides.In the same vein, the group commended the Acting Clerk of the National Assembly, Mr Sani Magaji Tambuwal for his unwavering devotion to human capital development and industrial harmony in the National Assembly.
The Coalition of Civil Society Groups for Peace, Security,Good Governance, Equity and Justice appealed to the management of the National Assembly to join forces with the Acting CNA to move the legislature to greater heights for enhanced national development.
