Muazu never resign from PDP-Party spokesman……I only stepped aside Muazu

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that the former National Chairman of the party, Ahmed Adamu Muazu was never at any time resigned his membership of the party but remain a bonafide member of the party.

PDP National Publicity Secretary,  Kola Ologbondinya reacted to the insinuation that the former governor of Bauchi State who was the party national chairman when the All Progressive Congress (APC) cruised to victory at the 2015 presidential election resigned his membership of the PDP after the election and joined the ruling APC, saying that he never did that.

Ologbondinya said, “He never resigned from the PDP, neither has he join  APC.”

However, Muazu who recently revalidated his membership of the PDP in an exclusive chat with New National Star said that he has never resigned his membership of the PDP neither has he thought of that, but insisted that after the 2015 general election which his party lost the presidency to the APC he felt he should step aside for a while so that he can come up with plans on how the PDP can reclaim its mandate at the federal level in subsequent polls.

Muazu further stated that it was good Nigerians have tested the leadership of the PDP and others (APC), now will value what they have been getting during the  PDP’s rein to what they have now.

He noted that 2023 would be the right time for the PDP to reclaim its temporarily lost power, stating that electorates are wise now that nobody can’t deceive them again with empty promises like they were felt in 2015.
