….Urges mothers to rise up for nation building
As Nigeria joins the world on Sunday in celebrating International Mother’s Day, Presidential hopeful Barr Uju Kennedy Ohanenye has called on Nigerian mothers to rise in defense of the nation democracy by aspiring for positions in the forthcoming general elections, while celebrating her fellow mothers for their role in the nation’s building.
Barr Ohanenye who was recently endorsed by the coalition of northern and southern All Progressive Congress (APC) youths for 2023 presidency stated that women are the best managers all over the world, therefore, if giving the opportunity to lead the country in 2023 there will be massive development in all facets of the nation’s endavour.
She however, enjoined Nigerian women to while celebrating mother’s day should also remember that they owe the country the duty to lead it right because they are mothers to both their children and their husbands.
According to her, “As a mother you do not only cares for your children alone but including your husband, so for us to replicate what we are doing In our various homes in our country, then we must seek elective positions in the forthcoming general elections, that way we can bring our leadership acumen to bear.
“I wants to congratulate all mothers all over the world most especially in Nigeria for the celebration of Mother’s Day and pray that God will continue to give us the strength and wisdom to lead our families and our country right.
Barr Uju is from Awomama in Imo State, South East, a women whose character has endear her to many youths and has yielded to their call to contest for president come 2023.
Meanwhile, she reiterated her earlier stand that it is time for the women to take charge of the nation’s echelon of power to provide the needed succor to assuage the hardships of the people.
