The club owner, of Macylance FC, Engr. Joseph Ekwere has said that his team will bounce back from a 3-1 defeat to D’Honourables FC in the ongoing Likeminds FC in-house tournament (Prince &Olumide Cup).
Engr. Ekwere attributes the defeat to unavailability of most of the players who were absent due to one reason or the other, thereby making the team to play with fewer players than their opponents who played with their full squad.
He noted, that their next game against Eyioha United will be a different ball game, promising that the team will rise up to the occasion.”We’ve really put the defeat behind us. You know we played with four players less than our opponents and we were able to curtailed them to only a 3-1 defeat, so when in next game we play our complete squad, definitely we’ll have no option than to pick the three points at stake.”I want to really assure you that we are going to win our next two games and play and win the final,” he said.Core Reporters report that Eyioha United loss 0-1 to D’Execitive, while Macylance FC also fell by 1-3 to D’Honourables FC in the opening games played over the weekend.
