Barely one month to the gubernatorial election across the country,  the Youths of Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Wednesday gave a rousing welcome  to the governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi  and his campaign team.
Sen. Hunkuyi and his team were welcomed to all the towns and villages by thousands of youths, old men and women who trooped out to the roads and palaces of traditional rulers across all the wards in Kagarko LG signaling the acceptances of his candidacy.

However,  Hunkuyi reiterated his promises to do his best in order to give free education at primary and secondary schools, reduce school fees at state owned tertiary institutions of learning as well as ensure security if elected into office as the next governor of Kaduna  come March 15, 2023.
He expressed worry and concern over what he described as unnecessary pains inflicted on the people by the All Progressive Congress, APC led Government said the lamentation, anguish and dilemma will not be allowed to continue when NNPP comes into power. 

Addressing the crowd in an open field in Kagarko, headquarters of Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Hunkuyi called on the people to use their permanent voters cards to show red cards to poverty, insecurity, joblessness, and bad government by voting for him and NNPP.
Hunkuyi also stated that he will reinstate traditional rulers sacked by Nasir El-Rufai government as restore the disengaged teachers.
Kagarko Local Government Area shares boundary with Niger State, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Nasarawa State as well as Jama’a, Jaba and Kachia LGAs of Kaduna State.
Earlier, HRH Bitrus James, Chief of Dnata Chiefdom, Tafa, Kagarko LG who welcomed Hunkuyi and his entourage to his palace urged him to create conducive environment that will boost business and job opportunities for the young ones as soon as he gets to the government house.
All the the traditional rulers Hunkuyi visited appreciated his determinations to tour all the wards, nooks and crannies of the local government despite obvious difficult terrains and lack of access roads in so many places. They also prayed for his success during the poll.
Hunkuyi and his entourage visited the palace of HRH Alhaji Abdullahi Jere, Emir of Jere and that of Kagarko Emirate Council. HRH Erekoro Yohanna Akaito, Chief of Kurmi Chiefdom also welcome Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi and his entourage to his palace in Kagarko LG.
