IEYLN Acting President Gyobe, MBF Youth coordinator Kane, HRH Yare lll broker peace for Middle Belt Youths

Finally, the youths of middle belt region in Nigeria have agreed to come together for the growth and development of the region and Nigeria as a whole.
Arising from a two-day meeting held in Akwanga, Nasarawa State between February, 1st-2nd which was facilitated by the acting National President of the Indigenous Ethnic Youth Leaders of Nigeria (IEYLN) Comrade Augustine Gyobe in collaboration with the National Coordinator of Middle Belt Youths & Elders Council, Capt. Brent Kane and the Paramount Ruler of Mada Nation, HRH Pastor Samson Gamu Yare lll to broker peace for Middle Belt Youths, the youths agreed to collapsed their various youth organizations into a United Middle Belt Youth Organisation (UMBYO).
This, they said will help provide the region with a common front interms of development and growth. Adding that the present state of affairs of the region was because of the disunity among the youths.
Addressing the various leaders of the youth organisations that gethered in Akwanga to resolve their differences, the IEYLN acting president, Augustine Gyobe said, they couldn’t be a better time than this to bring the youths of the region together to form a common front for development and growth of the region.
Gyobe, who is also the national President of Mada Youths noted that Middle Belt is the economic hub of Nigeria, saying that anything affecting the region will definitely affect the nation as a whole, therefore, he urged all the various youths leaders to come together under the umbrella of “United Middle Belt Youths Organisation ”. That way he said will bring peace to the region in particular and the country in general.
According to him, “We’ve all agreed to come together under the umbrella of “United Middle Belt Youths Organisation. It gladden my heart that finally peace has returned among us the youth of Middle Belt. I want to let you know that United we shall stand and divided we shall fall.
“I also want to urged you the leadership of this new forum to make sure you carry all the youths along, mostly the ethnic youths leaders across the fourteen states that made up the Middle Belt region,” he said.
Notwithstanding, the elated National Coordinator of Middle Belt Youths and Elders Council, Capt. Brent Kane, who is also the national coordinator of the United Middle Belt Youths Organisation (UMBYO)commended the youths leaders of various organisations who have agreed to do away with their selfish interests for the interest of the region and the nation by implications.
He promised to lead a more united youths of the region, while calling on all the youths in the region to embrace peace and unity for the growth and development of the region.
Meanwhile, Capt. Brent Kane was elected the National Coordinator (Youth Leader) of the Organisation, Prince lnalegwu John (National Secretary) and the Za’ar Youth President, Cmr. Daniel Ga’allah (Treasurer), while other vacant positions are to be filled in the next meeting of the UMBYO
Core Reporters report that, His Royal Highness, Pastor Samson Gamu Yare lll, the Paramount Ruler of Akwanga gave his blessings to the leadership of the UMBYO after participated in the peace meeting that brought together the youths of the Middle Belt.
While receiving the delegation led by the IEYLN acting president Cmr. Gyobe in his palace HRH Yare lll commended the youths for agreeing to to come together for the interest of the region, adding that the development and growth of the region lies squarely on the youths.
He said unfortunately the focus of the youths has been turned into exploitation as a form of recolonialism, but insisted that now is the right time for the youth to abandon all those psyche of colonialism and bounce back to the limelight
According to HRH, “Since you have decided to peace a chance in the affairs of the middle belt youths, God will help you to implement all the terms and conditions of your agreement to the later.
“And this move will surely bring the region back to the limelight,” he prayed.
