Gov. Sule congratulates Marwa Keshi, Danjuma, Yahaya over national teams’ coaches appointments

Nasarawa State governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has congratulated Nasarawa United assistant coach, Samaila Marwa Keshi, Christopher Danjuma and Audu Yahaya on their recent appointments by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as the Assistant Coach/Scout of national U-20 boys team (Flying Eagles) Head Coach, U-20 girls team, (Falconets) and U-20 boys team goalkeeper’s trainer respectively.
In a statement by the commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Othman Bala Adam on Friday, the state government expressed gladness over the appointment of three coaches from Nasarawa state owned clubs; Nasarawa United and Amazon into the nation age grade teams.

The statement reads in part, “On behalf of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, I, Hon. Othman Bala Adam, Commissioner, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, wish to heartily and most sincerely congratulate and rejoice with the following coaches from Nasarawa State over your recent appointments by the Nigerian Football Federation(NFF).

“Your appointments never came to us as a surprise because you have always displayed your rich coaching acumen with our beloved State’s owned football clubs, Nasarawa United and Nasarawa Amazons, in your various capacities. 

“While we are enormously proud of you all as worthy bonafide ambassadors of the State, I wish to further reiterate that you bring your professional wherewithal to bear in your new task to the expectations of your employers and the entire football-loving Nigerian populace.

“Kindly be assured of His Excellency’s continued support and best wishes as well as those of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and the entire good people of Nasarawa State, in all ramifications, like in time past, to exceed all expectations in your new assignments,” the statement concluded.
