Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has heeded to appeals by football stakeholders in Nigeria to come to the aid of ailing Lobi Stars’ Team Manager, Banabas Imenger Snr. who has been admitted for an undisclosed ailment for the past few weeks.

Core Reporters gathered exclusively that Gov. Ortom called the ailing Imenger Snr. on Thursday and assured him of his government readiness to foot the bill of his treatment henceforth.

Former Nigeria international, Imenger Snr. was reportedly rushed to the Federal Medical Center, Makurdi a few weeks ago for an undisclosed ailment.

A situation, Core Reporters gathered, Lobi Stars management led by Mike Idoko has been doing their bid by taking care of him in their little way as he spent days and night at the hospital without headway.

However, the elated ex-Nigeria international and the current team manager of the state owned Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Lobi Stars has thanked Gov. Ortom in advance for coming to his aid, while thanking the management of Lobi Stars and football stakeholders in Nigeria for their unflinching supports to him at this critical moment of his life.

Core Reporters can authoritatively report that, Imenger’s ailment would soon be discovered as he was referred to Fertile Ground  Hospital, Jos where extensive tests have been carried out on him for diagnosis at the Federal Medical Center, Makurdi.

Imenger was accompanied to Fertile Ground Hospital Jos on Thursday by his younger brother, George Imenger and they have both return to Federal Medical Center Makurdi.
