Ejike Ugboaja FC (EUfC) has recorded milestone as player, Thomas Idris (Pastore) left the shore of the country on Friday’s night via Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja to join his new club FK Apolonia in Albenian.
It will be recalled that exactly one month today, precisely August 14, 2024, two of Eufc’s players; Kasim Longcat and Goodluck William left the country for Europe to join their new clubs.
Idris was also selected in the last scouting program organised by EUFC recently in Abuja by scouts from Albania who graced the program.
Pastore as he os fondly called will be joining his country man, Al-Bashir Musa who is currently playing in the first team of Apolonia.
The former Eufc play-maker has promised to take the step of Musa who currently plays in the club first team, adding that he will be a good Nigeeia and Eufc’s ambassador to Europe.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has said that he is going to Europe to develop himself for the national teams, stressing that one day he hope to come back to help the country.
Meanwhile, Eufc’s president, Ejike Ugboaja (MFR) has changed him to exhibit professionalism when he gets to his new club to keep the flag of Nigeria and that of his former club, Eufc on.
