As nationwide protests entered the  third day, a group under the auspices of ‘SAVE DE MASSES’. ( A Global Youths Movement Against Violence And Under Development) has condemned the violent aspect of the protest.

Reacting to the Day One action of the youths in some states including the Federal CapitalTerritory(FCT), where shops were looted, persons attacked by hoodlums as well as other vices, the national coordinated of SAVE DE MASSES, Prince Isaac Otu said, if the youths had agreed to dialogue with the presidency some of the ugly incidents that had occurred in just three days of ten days nationwide protests would have been averted.

Otu,  while addressing journalists in Abuja on Saturday added that protest is not the best way to go rather dialogue, stressing that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has what it takes to fix Nigeria but needs a little time

He said, “How can a country destroyed for over fifty years ago be restored in just one year. Tinubu from his antecedents can fix Nigeria but needs three to four years before one can start assessing his performance.

“We condemned in it’s entirety violence in all shapes, sizes and sides. Progress is better than violence. My fellow youths please let’s give President Tinubu a little time to address our challenges in this country because I know he has what it takes to do that with our cooperation.

However,  Prince Otu advised the handlers of President Tinubu’s information to be pro-active in furnishing the masses with adequate information regarding the government plans and policies in ameliorating the plight of the masses caused by previous administration.

He opined that mismanagement of information by some government officials are part of the problem that brought about the nationwide protests,  adding  that the government is doing alot and has  good plans and policies for the country.

Accordingto him, “. In just one year in office, this government has signed into law some positive bills that has affected positively the lives of an ordinary Nigerians. So, in the next two to three years alot would be achieved by this government.

“All we crave and beg Nigerians for is time and patience for this administration to deliver it’s campaign promises and we are sure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will surely deliver, “ the National Coordinator of SAVE DE MASSES said.
