Lafia (Core Reporters) The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, has decorated One Hundred and Forty Three (143) Officers that were promoted from the rank of Inspector of Police to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP II) with their new ranks.
In his address, CP Nadada thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun PhD, NPM, as well as the Chairman of Police service commission for finding the beneficiaries worthy of promotion.
while congratulating the newly promoted officers, the Commissioner of Police charged the officers to be professional and civil to members of the public.
He urged the officers to brace up to the challenges/responsibilities that comes with their new ranks and status; as he admonished them to have a change of behavior as unprofessional conducts will be viewed seriously, and thereafter advised the officers to take proper care of their families and celebrate moderately.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, ASP Zakari Magaji appreciated the Commissioner of Police for recommending them for promotion and assured him of productive performance.
