CP Ajo Geoffrey Reaffirms Police Commitment to Security, Development and Strategic Partnership
The Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command, CP Ajo Geoffrey Ordue, on Friday received participants of Study Group Six of the Senior Executive Course 48, 2026, of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, who paid a courtesy visit to the Command alongside members of the Command Management Team.
The delegation, comprising two Directing Staff, Permanent Secretaries and other senior participants, is in Cross River State for a State Study Tour focused on exploring strategies for diversifying Nigeria’s orange economy.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Prof. Sulaiman Kura, a Directing Staff of NIPSS, appreciated the Commissioner for the security arrangements and support provided to the delegation since its arrival in the state on Sunday.
He explained that the visit was also aimed at familiarising the delegation with the Commissioner and the Command, as well as formally appreciating the Command for ensuring their safety throughout the study tour.
Responding, CP Ajo Geoffrey Ordue thanked the delegation and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, investors and other stakeholders.
The Commissioner emphasised the importance of security, community partnership and inter-agency collaboration in creating an enabling environment for development and economic growth.
He assured the delegation of the Command’s continued support throughout their stay and wished them a successful and rewarding study tour.
