CNS Record Impressive Win Over Spiking Stars
Abuja (Core Reporters) Nigeria’s CNS recorded an impressive win over newbies Spiking Stars of Botswana 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-8) in Pool B on Friday in the ongoing CAVB Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship.
CNS dominated and controlled the game from the first to the last set. They capitalized on SSV lack of experience and over-powered them with hitting to take the first set 25-22.
CNS, had the home ¹crowd’s support and earned loud cheers for every point they won. They showed their determination in the 2nd set taking some critical points, much to the crowd’s delight winning 25-21.
CNS maintained their authority in the 3rd set finding gaps in their opponent’s defence. They gave away a few points on their serve. It was a spirited play from SSV, but they lost the 3rd set 25-8.
