Christmas: Akpabio Urges Nigerians To Show Love, Unity

Abuja (Core Reporters) President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON has urged Nigerians to use the occasion of Christmas as an avenue to exude peace, love and unity. While he hailed the All Progressive Congress (APC) national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje as he marked his 75th birthday.
Akpabio in a Christmas message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, said the festive period calls for celebration and reflection.
He said “In the spirit of the season, I encourage you all to spread love, kindness, and generosity. Let us remember those in need and offer a helping hand as much as possible.
“As we gather with family and friends, let us also remember the true essence of Christmas: peace, love, and unity. May these values guide us as we strive to build a better Nigeria for all”, he advised.
The Senate President noted that Jesus Christ was given to peace and love and therefore, very generous adding that his birthday should be an occasion of joy and merriment.
“This special time of the year is a moment for reflection, gratitude, and celebration”, he said.
In the same vein, in a congratulatory message the Senate President described the former governor of Kano state as a dedicated democrat, genuine party man and an achiever.
“Your Excellency, this milestone is a testament to your remarkable life, dedicated service, and unwavering commitment to our great nation. As two-time deputy governor and governor for another eight years, your contribution to Nigeria’s democracy is never anomalous.
“As a dedicated democrat and conscientious party man, you have brought huge successes to bear on our great party, the APC, since you came on board. Under your leadership, we have won elections in Ondo, reclaimed Edo in a resounding victory and have made impact across board.
“The party is growing stronger and more united as many opposition members are defecting daily to the APC because of your sterling leadership and the performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the mutual collaboration of the National Assembly led by the party.
“As you celebrate this special day, I pray that it brings you joy, peace, and cherished moments with loved ones. May your birthday be the beginning of another year filled with good health, happiness, and continued service to our country”. Akpabio said.
