In his reaction, the GMD of SAUD Group of Companies, Alhaji Salihu Audu Abdullahi appreciated the award presented to him, while pledging to do more for humanity as long as he lives.
The University of Maiduguri graduate of Sociology traced the beginning of his philanthropist to what he passed through after he lost his mother who was his backbone to the cold hands of death during his final year in the university, and life after his graduation as well as how someone he never knew from nowhere assisted him to where he is in life today.
According to him, “I lost my mother who was my backbone during my final year in the university, it wasn’t easy with me but Allah helped me out. So after my graduation I come to Abuja to do labourer’s job, I actually served Mason before God linked me to a developer who made me what i am today. As a result of that I made up my mind not to see anyone around me suffering and turn my eyes away from the person.
“For these past years Allah has been helping me to keep to my promises. We’ve given scholarships to students, paid hospital bills to many as well as other areas Allah has been using us to help others,”he said.
