The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday vote against the amendment of the electoral law as requested by President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Buhari had signed the electoral act two weeks ago but requested that the lawmakers amend some sections of the law, but the Senate unanimously voted against it when it came up for hearing in the second reading.
