Calabar (Core Reporters) A vigilante group in the eastern part of Boki Local Government Area of Cross Riber State, Nigeria has apprehended over 60 foreign nationals in their forest, according to Core Reporters.

A source who spoke with Core Reporters in the early hours of Sunday, September 14, 2025, revealed that the foreign nationals were caught in Butatong forest, allegedly perambulating.

The situation is complicated by the fact that the foreign nationals do not understand or speak English, making it challenging to determine their mission. As no one understands their language, interpreting their intentions to the locals has proven difficult.
