If information in our disposal is anything to go by then, the president of Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Ladan Bosso would soon be announced as the replacement of Salisu Yusuf as the Chief Coach of the Super Eagles.

This is consequent upon the ten letter words ‘corruption’ which is hanging on Salisu’s neck, no thanks to a Ghanaian Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Ana who implicated him for bribery scandal.

Salisu has so far served the one year punishment meted on him by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and has been ‘criminally’ reappointed as the chief coach of the Super Eagles late last year, a situation that has not gone down well with majority of soccer stakeholders in Nigeria, including some executive committee  members of the NFF.

Corereporters report that the majority of the stakeholders are in support of Bosso’s appointment as Eagles’ Chief Coach to take over from Salisu, because the corruption stain in Salisu is capable of rubbishing the team and setting it into retrogression.

It will be recalled that Salisu accepted that $750 was handed to him by one of the two agents to the two Nigerian players only as a gift of trivial and symbolic value and not as an inducement to play the two players represented by the two agents.

Meanwhile, we have reported earlier that the leadership of the ministry of Youth and Sports Development, which is the supervisory ministry to all sporting federations in Nigeria are not comfortable with the reappointment of Salifu Yusuf as the chief coach of the nation’s senior national team having been caught on corruption case which he (Yusuf) has admitted and even served the one year punishment for the offence.
