The All Progressive Congress (APC) has commenced the sale of forms for the upcoming Anambra State governorship election.

APC sale of forms will runs between April 15 through June 8, 2021. However, June 8, shall also serve as the last date for the submission of the completed forms and accompanying documents to the party secretariat in Abuja.

In a press statement signed by Prof. Al-Mustapha, Ussiju Medaner, APC  Director of Organisation APC fixed primary election on June 26, 2021.”

The statement reads, “In accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines, the All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases this time-table and schedule of activities for the conduct of the 2021 Governorship Primary Election in Anambra State. 

“Sale of Forms (APC National Secretariat): Thursday 15th April – Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

“Last Day for Submission of Completed Forms and accompanying documents  at the APC National Secretariat on Tuesday, June 8, 2021

“Screening of Aspirants shall take place on Thursday, June 10, 2021 while Publication of claims and objections on Saturday, June 12, 2021, and Screening Appeals Tuesday, June 15, 2021

“Primary election shall hold on Saturday, June 26, 2021, while Election Appeal is on Wednesday, June 30, 2021,” the statement said.

However, the Governorship Expression of Interest Form is peg at N2,500,000 while the nomination form goes for N20,000,000.00, bringing the total to N22,500,000.

Core Reporters report that Female Aspirants and Physically Challenged Aspirants are to pay 50% of the prescribed fees for the position.
