Aondofar while mourning his club TM said the death of Imenger Snr. was a rude shock to him, stressing that despite his sickness he was optimistic that the ex-interrelation would get back to his feat so that they would join hands and position Lobi where its belong.

According to him, “I am sadden with the news of Imenger Snr’s death, because I have heard of him and how dedicated he is to the cause of Lobi Stars, so when I was appointed as the vice-chairman on Friday I thought I am going to work with him to lift Lobi to its promise land, but here we are, Imenger Snr. is gone.

“I regretted not being the club vice-chairman before now otherwise I would have done everything possible through the talk and do governor of our state, His Excellency Samuel Ortom to make sure he received the best medical in town, because the late Imenger Snr. has put in his all for the state,” Aondofar said.

In the same vein, the former vice-chairman of Lobi, Dominic Iorfa mourned Imenger Snr. saying he has never seen a team worker than the late Imenger Snr.

Iorfa who held sway as Lobi chairman for fourteen years said within the period he worked with Imenger Snr. as Lobi coach  he saw the desire in him to take the club above others in the country.

“What else would I say, Barnabas is gone a very gentle man, he has no problem with anybody, all he knows is how to execute his assigned job. I am going to miss him greatly because he was part of me and unfortunately his sickness came when I was no longer the club vice-chairman otherwise I would have done everything possible to make sure he receive the best medical,” Iorfa said.
