Senator Solomon Adeola representing Ogun West in the national assembly has described the death of Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu as a monumental loss to the Yoruba nation and Nigeria in particular.
The Senate Committee chairman on Appropriations who expressed sadness over Akeredolu’s demise said his great contributions to national development are sterling legacies worthy of emulation.
A statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by Chief Kayode Odunaro, the Media Adviser to Senator Adeola said, Akeredolu was a forthright democrat whose contributions to our democracy and economic development are immeasurable
“We have lost a great legal mind and a forthright democrat whose contributions to our democratic and economic development are immeasurable. He was a fighter for safety and security of not only Yorubas in South west but all Nigerians resident in his state when he was a governor” the senator stated.
“I pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of the Arakurin Akeredolu and also pray to God to grant his immediate family and the entire state the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he said.
