The outspoken Nigerian Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe is at the moment attending an ongoing Committee hearing on Power at the Senate Complex.

This is contrary to the rumour making the rounds in some sections of the media (not Core Reporters) that Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has been arrested by security officials.

Senator Abaribe, who is the Vice-Chairman, Senate Committee on Power, is not only attending the public hearing but taking his usual seat which is next to the Chairman, Senator Gabriel Suswan.

However, the rumour of Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe’s arrest started shortly after he was seen wearing a T-shirt with the inscription” The Dot Nation”

It will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari had in his interview with Arise TV a few days back described Igbos as a ‘dot in a circle.’
