Agency Report
At least six people have been reportedly injured after a gunman opened fire at a Michigan high school.
Police responded around 12:55 pm to a report of an active shooter at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, a suburb north of Detroit.
The suspected shooter was arrested and a handgun was recovered, said the Oakland County Sheriff´s Office, which added that it doesn’t think there was more than one attacker.
Four to six people were wounded, but no fatalities have been reported, the sheriff´s office said.
‘At this time it is still an active scene,’ Undersheriff Mike McCabe told local media about 1:30 p.m. ‘We have multiple patrol units and multiple EMS units on scene along with SWAT and Aviation Unit.’
