Late Deaconess Sefiat Mayigbo goes home @ 103
Supare-Akoko Ondo (Core Reporters) It was a fanfare on Friday in Supare-Akoko, Ondo State, as the late deaconess Sefiat Mayigbo (Nee Okunola) was committed to the mother earth in her hometown.
Late deaconess Mayigbo died at the age 103. She was born on 22nd November 1921 to the family of late mallam Musa Okunola in Supare-Akoko, Aloko South West local government area, Ondo State
She survived by nine children, grandchildren, grade-grandchildren and grade-grade-grandchildren. Among the children is Moses K. Olurunfemi (aka MKO).
The senior pastor of Life Hope Salvation Ministry International, Prophet Denis Mongba led the delegation of the church members where Moses Olurunfemi worshiped to the burial.
This was to give Olurufemi, the mem’s leader the spiritual and physical coverage as he joined his siblings to celebrate a life well spent of their late mother.
In her tribute, Mrs Christianah Olurunke Joseph was full of praises for her late mother, whom she said taught her the importance of having a relationship with God.
She said, “She is a portrait of a godly mother and I am proud to be her daughter. I witnessed mom’s constant devotion to and love for her children and family, she never complain.
“My mom was an inspired mother, a woman who dedicated her time in helping others without expecting anything in return.,” she said.
Also, her last son Moses Kehinde Olurunfemi said his late mother was an exemption to him, wonders how he could hold back his tears.
According to MKO as he is fondly called, “She made an impact in my life, for the period I spent with her, she made a lasting impression on me and I want to say I love her even in her death. I pray may God keep her in the bosom of Abraham until we path no more,” MKO prayed.
Meanwhile, the burial ceremony was grace by sons and daughters from Supare-Akoko and beyond.
