The Nasarawa State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Aliyu Bello has eulogised Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration for all-around transformation, particularly the peaceful atmosphere in the state, thereby scoring him above average in his 2nd anniversary in the helm of the state affairs.
Bello stated this in an interview with newsmen in Lafia while fielding questions on the performance of the state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule at a gala night to mark his two years in office.
According to the State APC Secretary, “the peaceful atmosphere we are enjoying in Nasarawa is enough for us comparing the security challenges across the country and around the globe.
He commended the governor for being the first governor to complete the abandoned projects of the past administrations in the state.
“Governor Sule is the first governor that came and completed the projects abandoned by his predecessors in office. He had done projects started by former governor Abdullahi Adamu, he has completed projects abandoned by his immediate predecessor, Governor Tanko Almakura”, he said.
Aliyu Bello noted that there is a significant improvement in the quality of education and health care delivery in the state as well as other aspects, stressing that, because of the good things happening in the state, all political parties are working to support the government.
He added that “whether from APC, PDP or APGA, there is no one who has shown interest to contest against Governor Sule in electioneering campaign. This is because Gov Sule is running an all-inclusive government and coupled with his quest to turn the entire state around development-wise.”
“Go to our schools now, the quality of education has improved, health care delivery has improved, and everything has improved. So by and large, I will score him 85 percent and by the grace of God, we are calling on him to contest for the second term.
“If you look at what is happening, there are no opposition in Nasarawa State – whether from APC, PDP or APGA that has shown the zeal to contest electioneering campaign with him.
“As far as I am concerned my views are not different from the views of others, even from the opposition. You have seen what Governor Sule has done, the evidence speaks for itself,” he said.
