The organizers of the 2023 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Pre-season football competition has announced that the competition earlier slated for January 24, will now kick-off Jan. 28, 2023.
The Secretary, Organizing Committee, Mike Attah said the change of date was communicated to them by the FCT Football Association, saying that it was as a result of another event taking places at the proposed venue of the competition.
The organizers said, “We commend the promptness of participating teams in the payment of their registration fees. In view of the change in the kick-off date, we may also accommodate a few more teams.
“We intend to have a two hour interaction/seminar with representatives of participating teams at a date to be announced soon.
“We urge every team to be focused and ensure that they define their targets properly by using the Pre-Season Competition as a yardstick to measure the effectiveness of their plans.
Meanwhile, Ejike Ugboaja FC will square up against other teams registered for the competition.
