Saturday was a day to behold as Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye declares her intention to vie for the presidency (top position in the land) come 2023 in Abuja.

She said, what prompted her to join the race was because a lot of Nigerians are suffering, mostly people living with disabilities, the orphans, widows, women and children among others.

Barr. Uju hinted that if giving the opportunity to lead the nation come 2023, she will make sure local engineering companies are sadden with the responsibility to construct lasting roads for the country on like the present situation where contracts are giving to foreign companies with little or no quality road construction.

She added her administration will prioritise health care delivery in the nation, as she insisted that health care system needs drastic improvement.

Meanwhile, she called on women and the youths to insist on a woman presidency come 2023, adding that the men have led the country for quite a number of years yet the country is not heading to any better way.

“Our fathers, husbands have been in power for the past fifty years yet Nigeria is even getting worse, poverty, insecurity and others ills are the other of the day. There is no solution in sight but with a woman as the president there is no how we can’t get things right because as a mother she will think of her children and her husband that way things must get better.

“The worse is that women and their children are at the receiving ends, so this time around we want a better society that is why a woman is preferable come 2023 to lead the country as the president and I Uju Kennedy Ohanenye is the candidate to beat.

“Having heeded to the call of my supporters across the country, I Uju Kennedy Ohanenye Esq. I hereby declares my intention to contest for the president come 2023 and under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

As usual after her declaration food attempts were distributed to thousands of her supporters who turn out for her declaration event at Jikwoyi, Abuja.
