The Plateau State Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon,Bar Letep Dabang have formally revealed why his group formed the Eaglets Golfers
Speaking exclusively to Golfville, at the Lamingo Golf Club, Hon Dabang explained that the driving force behind the formation was to give back to the society by identifying potential Golfers from the grassroots, nurture and groom them to stardom
Hon Dabang who was a former Chairman of Plateau State Independent Election Commission (PLASIEC), further revealed that they adopted a value chain of Professionals-Eaglets-Members,
He explained that the professionals in their team will train the Eaglets, while the influential members bankroll the expenses
Hon Dabang who’s an 18-Handicap golfer stressed that their Eaglets are on an all expenses paid package
“We play on different courses for them to adapt as they eye the professional cadres
We’re Monitoring and Targeting the upcoming professional golf-cut, billed for next year”, Hon Dabang concluded with a sense of accomplishment.
You may wish to recall that Plateau State boasts for no fewer than four golf clubs namely Rayfield Golf Club-1913, Lamingo Golf Club,Rhino Golf Club,Rukuba Barracks and the National Institute of Policy Strategic Studies, NIPSS.
