Breaking: PMB, Lalong, congratulate, ITF, DG, ARI for his reappointment

President Muhammadu Buhari and the governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Lanlong has congratulated Sir Joseph Ari on his reappointment as the Director General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

Corereporters report that Mr. President gave Ari a surprise call when he was being honoured on Saturday by his colleagues at the Lamingo Golf Club, Jos.

A close source to the DG revealed that in the midst of the ceremony, a call came through from PMB’s ADC, who drew the attention of the DG to his reappointment.

The source said, “He jumped out of his seat screening thank you sir, Your Excellency, thank you, Your Excellency I am humbled, Your Excellency, we shall take ITF to the next level with your blessings and support.”

Corereporters gathered that the brief chat lasted for close to five minutes before an elated Ari returned to his seat.

In the same vein, the Plateau State Governor, Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong had also felicitated with the DG of ITF,Ari on his reappointment for another four years term.

In a statement signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr Makut Macham said that it was a good omen for the Agency and Plateau State.

“I am not surprised by the reappointment of Ari by Mr President for another term because in the last four years, he has rebranded and refocused the organization by making it a top notch grade “A” parastatal

Earlier the state Commissioner Of Works, Pam Mang,who address Ari, as an Ambassador of Plateau State, said he had no iota of doubt about the competence of the celebrant who’s other name is Mr A-Plus

It may be recalled that the Lamingo Golf Club played a special Kitty in honor of the reappointed ITF DG, Ari.

Further recall that Ari,who was first appointed by PMB in September 2016, still has two months to run in his first term.
