Idris Hails APC Mobilisation in Kaduna, Says Tinubu’s Reforms Will Deliver Prosperity
By Sarah Kitka
Kaduna (Core Reporters) The Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has commended the massive turnout at the APC mobilisation rally held in Kaduna on Saturday, describing it as a strong demonstration of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and expressing confidence that the administration’s reform agenda will deliver prosperity to Nigerians.
Idris said the turnout reflected the administration’s appeal across regional boundaries, noting that people from different parts of the country had gathered in Kaduna to show their support for the President.
“Look at how all the people from all regions have all come here to see just one man, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
The Minister acknowledged the challenges associated with the ongoing reforms but expressed optimism that they would yield long-term benefits for Nigerians.
“They know that there is prosperity at the end of the day. Yes, there may be challenges at this moment, but we are moving away from that. We are consolidating,” he said.
The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr Dele Alake, said the administration had taken difficult but necessary decisions to reposition the Nigerian economy, stressing that consistency was essential to sustaining the gains of the reforms.
He described the current phase as a transition from reform to prosperity, emphasising the need to consolidate progress and build a stronger economy.
“Now it is reform to prosperity,” he said.
Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Public Enlightenment and Secretary of the Directorate of Media and Strategic Communications, Presidential Campaign Council 2027, Malam Abdul’aziz Abdul’aziz, said the campaign would showcase evidence of the administration’s achievements, including student support through the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and infrastructure development.
“We are providing evidence to prove that the particular administration has done a lot and deserves to get re-elected,” he said.
